Join us from anywhere with internet access for our hour-long webinar featuring a moderated panel of current UCSD students who will share their experiences with academic internships, undergraduate research and study abroad. Hear stories and advice, and ask questions of students who have been there.

Building Social Confidence

Do you have difficulty talking with professors, speaking up in groups, making friends, or asking someone out on a date?  Would you like to gain confidence in social situations?  Dr. Tiffany O'Meara runs the "Building Social Confidence" groups at UCSD Counseling and Psychological Services.  Come learn about what are typical thought and behavior patterns that keep us from taking social risks, and learn how to face your fears and build your social confidence.  She will also share some "hot tips" for social interaction.
