Whether you choose to live on-campus or off-campus there are many different housing options. The term UCSD Housing will be used to refer to anyone interested or currently living in UCSD residential facilities on campus. For more information about living in non-university affiliated housing, UC San Diego offers Commuter Student Services and a multitude of Helpful Hints to aid you in navigating your housing options.
While living on campus, there is a Residential Life Office full of dedicated staff devoted to helping you succeed at UC San Diego. While these individuals serve as your contacts once you arrive on campus, UC San Diego Housing and Dinning can assist you with all of your questions pertaining to your Housing application, Housing placement, Dinning Plan, Dinning Dollars, and Triton Cash.

While living on campus is a great option for students, many students will choose to live off campus as well. The Commuter Student Services Office was developed to help students locate alternate off campus housing and provide resources for first time renters.
