Orientation Leader Application

• As part of the Orientation Leader application, you will be required to share the contact information of a professional reference. Please be sure to request permission from your Professional Reference prior to submitting your application.
• You will have the ability to save your application and return to complete it at a later time.
• Expect that this application will take just over an hour to complete.
• • Besides the basic contact information the application includes the following questions which we list here to assist you in preparing to apply
    • Work history questions including 
      • Title 
      • Employer Name
      • Length of Employment
      • Description of Job Responsibilities
    • Organizations, Clubs, and/or Group Involvement history including 
      • Name of Organization, Club, or Group
      • Titles/Positions you have held
      • Length of Involvement
      • A Brief Description of your Responsibilities
    • Short answer questions including
      • Why are you interested in applying for the position of Orientation Leader? 
      • Please share ONE or TWO of your strengths that you bring to the Orientation Leader position and use personal examples that illustrate those selected strengths.
      • Please describe ONE area of growth you would like to develop and how being an Orientation Leader will help you grow in that area.

  Each college has its mandatory dates listed on their job posting and website. 

  
  

  The orientation leader position traditionally has conflicting schedules with several other jobs on campus, including work hours for Resident Assistants (RAs), Hall Assistants (HAs), and certain roles with OASIS, Transfer Hub, Middle of Muir (MoM) and others. If you are applying to one or more of these other positions, please be aware you may not be able to hold multiple roles due to these scheduling conflicts.
