Internships & Work Authorization
Academic Internship Program (AIP):
One of the main resources for students to receive academic credit for the internships that they complete is through the Academic Internship Program (AIP).
These academic internships are an excellent way to:
-
Apply classroom learning in workplace settings
-
Engage in innovative research
-
Explore career interests and build professional networks
-
Develop the skills needed to succeed in the twenty-first century workplace
Career Services:
Students can also connect with Career Services to enhance their professional development skills, review career resources, and get help applying for internships, part-time on- and off-campus jobs, work-study positions, and full-time employment after graduation!
Work Authorizations:
Working in the USA will look differently for students on a F-1 Visa and students on a J-1 visa. Please refer to the ISPO website to learn more about working in the US as an international student. And to the Career Center website for different opportunities!
